American Visionary Art Museum
Baltimore , MD
Note: Please always check the event website to confirm event details.
This fun annual event features a variety of human-powered amphibious sculptures racing on the streets and in the waters of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor area.
The sculptures/vehicles are wacky creations in all shapes and sizes.
The race begins and ends at the American Visionary Art Museum, 800 Key Highway.
The event is free for spectators to attend. The all-day race kicks off at 10:00 a.m. at American Visionary Art Museum (arrive early to take part in the Opening Ceremony and Blessing of De Feet). Other great spots to see the vehicles are the 1st Checkpoint atop Federal Hill; The Water Entry at the boat ramp at Canton Waterfront Park; the uphill Mud-Pit in Patterson Park; the not-so-quick-Sand Pit in Patterson Park; and anywhere along the 15-mile route throughout Baltimore City.
Organized by the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, MD.
