A Havre de Grace MarinaThe historic city of  Havre de Grace, Maryland features a wealth of attractions. Havre de Grace is a waterfront town, sitting right on the banks of the wide Susquehanna River. There's a boardwalk prominade where you can enjoy the beautiful watefront views, and a nice waterfront park.

During the Revolutionary War this small hamlet was visited several times by General Lafayette.  He mentioned that the area reminded him of the French seaport, Le Havre. This is how the town was given the name Havre de Grace which is French for "Harbor of Grace."

Havre de Grace has many parks and museums to keep visitors busy.  The Havre de Grace Decoy Museum has one of the best collections of decoys you'll see anywhere.  Nearby Susquhanna State Park offers opportunities for hiking, boating, and fishing. Golfers will enjoy playing a round at Bulle Rock Golf Course.  This Pete Dye designed course has been the home of the LPGA championship several years.

MacGregor's also has a waterfront location and outdoor dining.  The Laurrapin Grille serves locally sourced food in a casual setting, with live music on the weekends.  More Havre de Grace restaurants.
