This is a calendar of events taking place on and around the Chesapeake Bay for the months of July, August, and September.  The calendar includes a wide variety of events including festivals, boat races, boat shows, fishing tournaments, exhibitions, seminars and workshops.

July – September 2024

July 4, 2024 – 4th of July Great American Picnic & Fireworks – Fourth of July event serving up food, live entertainment from military bands, and a big fireworks show over the Elizabeth River. Town Point Park. Norfolk, VA.

August 2, 2024 – Annapolis Rotary Crab Feast – The 79th annual all-you-can-eat crab feast featuring crabs, corn, BBQ, and hot dogs, plus beer from the keg and sodas & water. Held at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Annapolis, MD

August 12 – 17, 2024 – Queen Anne’s County Fair – Exhibits, 4H competitions, amusement rides and more. Queen Anne’s County 4-H Park, Centreville, MD.

August 31 – September 1, 2024 – Crabtown Seafood Festival – Held along the downtown waterfront from Mill Point Park to the downtown docks, this festival features seafood vendors, fishing boats, and educational exhibits about the Chesapeake Bay. Hampton, VA.

September 7, 2024 – Historic Stevensville Classic Car Show – Historic cars will be parked on Love Point Road and on the Train Station green in Historic Stevensville. Free tours by docents in historic garb at the historic sites.

September 14 & 15, 2024 – Maryland Seafood Festival – The Seafood Festival returns to Sandy Pointe State Park for 2024. Annapolis, MD.

September 21 & 22, 2024 – Hampton Cup Regatta – North America’s oldest continuously-run hydroplane boat race is back in Hampton. This event features high-speed hydroplane boat racing, food & beer vendors, and a car show. Hampton, VA.

September 27 – 29, 2024 – Chesapeake Film Festival – Events are held at the Avalon Theater, Academy Art Museum, and Ebenezer Theater in Easton, MD.
